Job Description

As a Maintenance Head, you will lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of all plant equipment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing maintenance schedules and ensuring adherence to timelines, minimizing plant downtime.
  • Providing direction and oversight for predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance, including safety protocols, incident reporting and investigation, and environmental protection.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the maintenance of waste handling systems, combustion units, flue gas cleaning systems, ash handling, and all other related equipment in the plant.
  • Ensuring that equipment operates at peak performance by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, and timely repairs.
  • Implementing a robust predictive/preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and enhance reliability.
  • Collaborating with operations, technical services, HSSE, and support functions to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Engineering or any other relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the Energy, Utilities industry, with at least 5 years in a maintenance leadership role for a Maintenance Department.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, as well as good management and leadership qualities.
