About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join our dynamic team as an Account and Statutory Compliances Person. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all financial and statutory compliance tasks, contributing to the overall financial health and legal integrity of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Accounting:
    • Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, bank reconciliation, and general ledger maintenance.
    • Prepare and analyse financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement).
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
    • Coordinate with auditors during external audits.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Prepare and file various tax returns, including income tax, GST, and other applicable taxes.
    • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws.
    • Research and analyse tax laws and regulations to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
  • Statutory Compliances:
    • Manage statutory compliance requirements, such as labour laws, environmental regulations, and corporate governance.
    • Coordinate with government agencies and external consultants to ensure compliance.
    • Maintain necessary records and documentation for statutory audits.
    • Compliance fulfilment of ESI, PF & other Statutory laws as prevailing.
  • Internal Controls:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
    • Monitor and evaluate internal control procedures to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree/Equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • CA or ICWA qualification.
  • Experience in Engineering & Manufacturing Sector.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and Government regulations.
