We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to lead our cloud-based data engineering initiatives. With 5–10 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and Big Data Analytics solutions, this role is ideal for professionals passionate about designing and implementing scalable data engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize data pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, and Cloud Composer.
  • Implement Big Data Analytics solutions leveraging Hadoop, Hive, and Spark on GCP.
  • Write efficient queries and scripts with SQL, PySpark, and Python for large-scale data processing.
  • Work with orchestration and messaging tools like Airflow, Kafka, Git, Jenkins, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, bringing strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.
  • Apply Agile methodologies in project delivery and leverage data visualization tools (Tableau / MicroStrategy) for business insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in GCP Data Engineering (BigQuery, Dataflow, DataProc, PySpark, Python, Cloud Composer).
  • Proficiency with Tableau or MicroStrategy (MSTR) for reporting and dashboards.
  • Strong foundation in data modeling, optimization, and pipeline orchestration.
