Data Measurement & Reporting Lead Analyst – Technology Performance – Tech Metrics & Reporting (TMR) team

Job Summary:

The Technology Metrics & Reporting (TMR) team is seeking a skilled Tableau reporting expert to build a number of Tableau dashboards utilizing various data sources, e.g., Jira, Pathfinder, ServiceNow, Clarity, Workday, etc.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop Tableau views with a variety of data sources to help partners visualize their information and identify areas of opportunities.
  • Complete the process of requirements, analysis, design, build, and testing of the dashboards.
  • Comply and maintain best practices, adhere to standard processes, and continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate and partner with other Tech Metrics & Reporting team members as well as our partners outside of the core team.
  • Provide ad-hoc data analysis to support leadership decisions.
  • Focus on process optimization and automation, as well as documentation.
  • Socialize and demonstrate scorecards and improvement findings with various partners including management and leadership teams.
  • Create and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Troubleshoot issues and production support on existing dashboards.
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and evaluate their application to the work.

Required Skills:

  • Broad and deep understanding of technologies in this field, including but not limited to Tableau, SQL Server, Data Analysis, MS-Office suite.
  • Proven skills to build interactive and user-friendly Tableau dashboards.
  • Proven experience with data analytics, troubleshooting, and investigations.
  • Advanced skills in Excel to validate and structure data when needed.
  • Ability to write complex data queries (Tableau/SQL Server) and utilize databases in most efficient ways.
  • Tableau certification preferred.

Salary Information:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Work Environment:

This role requires working collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate across teams.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, IT or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of training and experience. 5-8 years of hands-on technical expertise in Tableau development utilizing multiple data sources, focused on SQL Server databases, and data analysis.
