GCP Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Specialist to lead the design, development, and maintenance of large-scale data processing systems on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires expertise in creating scalable, efficient, and secure data infrastructure using GCP services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-driven solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data processing systems to ensure high performance and scalability.
  • Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in SQL database management and query writing.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCP services, particularly BigQuery for real-time analytics.
  • Familiarity with Processing & Analysis tools: Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Apache Airflow.
  • Experience with Data Storage solutions: BigQuery, Cloud Storage.
  • Understanding of Data Ingestion concepts: Cloud Pub/Sub.
