Production Quality Assurance Specialist

This position is responsible for ensuring that all finished products meet strict quality standards before being dispatched to customers. The role involves comprehensive inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with internal specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Checks: Perform thorough inspections of all finished goods, including visual checks, functional testing, and documentation reviews.
  • Non-Conformity Management: Identify and report non-conformities, and coordinate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed inspection records, test reports, and certificates of conformity.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of preventive measures for recurring issues. Provide feedback to production and quality teams for continuous improvement.
  • Compliance & Audits: Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, safety, and environmental policies. Support internal and external audits related to production and outbound quality.
  • Logistics & Dispatch: Inspect outbound shipments to ensure only conforming products are dispatched. Verify that packaging is correct and that the right serial numbers are linked to the correct invoices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in production and outbound quality inspection, preferably in power electronics, electrical equipment, or similar industries.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of power electronic products such as inverters, converters, and UPS.
  • Quality Standards: Familiarity with industry quality standards like ISO 9001 and IEC standards.
  • Tools & Systems: Experience using electrical and electronic testing instruments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing and quality improvement tools (e.g., 5S, 7QC tools). Experience with ERP or quality management systems is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong documentation and reporting skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
