Production Manager Job Description



Job Title:

Agronomist          


As a Production Manager, you will lead the production and operations for our cluster, ensuring seamless execution of our farming activities. Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing production plans to meet customer delivery metrics.
  2. Collaborating with the sales team to forecast market demand and plan production accordingly.
  3. Executing contracting farming activities with network farmers in compliance with best practices.
  4. Mobilizing and training suitable farmers to adopt regenerative organic production methods.
  5. Monitoring farming activities to ensure adherence to best practices and zero chemical usage.
  6. Managing collection centers at each Regional Agricultural Center (RAC), receiving produce from farmers, sorting, grading, and storage.
  7. Ensuring produce quality and working closely with operations teams to supply produce to collection centers/distribution centers.
  8. Planning RAC-level input production according to vegetable production plans.
  9. Working with technical teams to execute best practices in regenerative agriculture and providing feedback from the field.
