About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, performing data entry, and maintaining accurate accounts. This includes processing vendor invoices, preparing payments, and reconciling bank statements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Performing data entry for financial transactions into accounting software.
  • Processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, and ensuring proper coding and approval.
  • Preparing and processing payments to vendors, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
  • Reconciling daily, weekly, or monthly bank statements to ensure bank statements match company records.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in general ledger accounts.
  • Processing employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Recording and tracking company expenses.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
