Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls System Specialist to join our team at BDx Data Centers.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a passion for control systems in data centers. As a Controls System Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and leading the design of control and monitoring systems from concept to delivery.

You will work closely with various specialists, including mechanical, electrical, structural, architectural, and controls experts, to ensure resiliency, functionality, segregation, bandwidth, and other essential requirements are met.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Create tender requirements for control and monitoring systems
  • Review specialist consultants' designs and implementations
  • Assist in resolving end-user monitoring and control issues
  • Maintain control and monitoring uptime in the central NOC room
  • Develop and maintain control and monitoring standards

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in control and monitoring system implementation for data center projects.

You should have expertise in analog control and monitoring, direct digital controllers, programmable logical controllers, ELV systems, UPS systems, and experience working in different countries.
