We are seeking an expert in dam break analysis and emergency planning to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with postgraduate qualifications in hydraulic or hydrology. He/she should have at least 15 years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic modeling using advanced tools such as MIKE, HEC_HMS, or similar software.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the preparation and finalization of Tier-I documents following international standards and guidelines. He/she will also provide technical support for the development and finalization of Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) and facilitate stakeholder consultation meetings.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Civil Engineering Degree: A degree in civil engineering with postgraduate qualifications in hydraulic or hydrology is required.
- Hydrological and Hydraulic Modeling Experience: At least 15 years of experience in hydrological and hydraulic modeling using advanced tools such as MIKE, HEC_HMS, or similar software.
- Dam Break Analysis Expertise: Strong expertise in dam break analysis and inundation mapping is essential.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills are required to lead teams and facilitate stakeholder consultation meetings.
