Structural Steel Modeller Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Modeller to create detailed models of structural steel components using Tekla Structures software.

This is a critical role that requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience working with Tekla Structures software, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create accurate and detailed structural steel models using Tekla Structures software.
  • Generate high-quality fabrication drawings and material lists from the models, ensuring all specifications are met.
  • Review project requirements and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Participate in design meetings as required to ensure seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TEKLA STRUCTURES V20 SR1 / V21.1 modeling software program.
  • Strong understanding of architectural and engineering drawings is essential for this role.
  • Experience in creating detailed shop and fabrication drawings for steel structures is highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, as remote work arrangements may be necessary.
