Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Role Summary

You will lead the effort to develop and assign maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment, supporting asset reliability by developing appropriate equipment strategy.

Purpose & Accountabilities
  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzers, and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation (e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers).
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Preventive, Predictive, Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification, international instrumentation standards.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation, including control valves, on-off valves, various field instruments.
