Meat Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled and diligent meat specialist to prepare fresh chicken for our kitchen operations.

  • Clean and portion chicken into specific cuts based on customer orders or kitchen requirements, utilizing knives, cleavers, cutting boards, and machines efficiently.
  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness in the workspace, tools, and equipment, sanitizing surfaces, containers, and knives before and after each task.
  • Inspect chicken stock regularly for freshness, texture, and smell, alerting the supervisor about low stock levels or quality issues.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by attending to walk-in customers with courtesy, understanding their specific cutting or portioning requests, and offering recommendations on chicken types and cuts if asked.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and coordinate daily cutting plans, special orders, or bulk requirements.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience necessary; salary is performance-based.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic education and strong attention to detail.
