Corporate Accounting and General Ledger Management is a key vertical in the Financial Reporting framework. It serves as a second line of defense, collaborating closely with business units, operating teams, and control groups.

This vertical caters to the financial reporting requirements for the organization. It involves preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements, augmenting organizational controls to mitigate/minimize financial reporting risks, advising business units on accounting treatment for various events, and liaising with statutory auditors and regulatory inspection teams.

The team also provides relevant financial prognosis and matrices to top management and finalizes various notes presented to governance forums from a financial management perspective.

The incumbent is responsible for establishing a center of excellence where they will:

  • Create action-oriented dashboards for CFOs and other leadership within the financial management group
  • Continuously re-engineer processes to bring efficiency in routine financial reporting and financial controls processes
  • Augment entity-level controls to mitigate/minimize financial reporting risks
  • Work with various units to ensure timely updates on financial matrices for proactive action
  • Drive various agendas such as GL/internal account opening, annual review of account ownership and attributes, quarterly-half-yearly substantiation exercise, related party transaction monitoring framework, etc.
