About the Role: We're seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst who can transform financial data into actionable insights, driving business growth and informing strategic decisions.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Dive into sales reports and financial data to craft clear recommendations for finance, marketing, and operations teams.
- Collaborate on budget preparation, ensuring alignment with company goals and expansion plans.
- Analyze variances between actual outcomes and forecasts/budgets, highlighting discrepancies and working with teams to address them proactively.
- Develop and maintain financial dashboards tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), providing transparent progress updates to senior management.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with teams across departments to foster a data-centric approach supporting broader business strategies.
- Ad-hoc analysis: Support leadership with financial analysis, including ROI assessments, cost-benefit evaluations, and profitability analyses.
Your Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in financial planning or data analysis, preferably in a startup or hospitality environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an asset.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proactive, organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively.
