Job Title: Release Manager

Overview">

This position is responsible for managing the release process, ensuring smooth and timely deployments to target environments.



Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage test environments and facilitate deployments;
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations, project management) to ensure successful releases;
  3. Track and ensure desired content is deployed to an environment;
  4. Lead go-live activities, including deployment planning, execution, and post-release support;
  5. Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and business go/no-go decisions;
  6. Maintain release documentation, including runbooks, implementation plans, and release notes;
  7. Identify and manage risks related to release, schedule, and quality;
  8. Continuously improve release processes and tools to enhance efficiency and reliability;
  9. Track and report release metrics and KPIs to stakeholders;


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent degree with 6-10 years of experience;
  2. Proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role in software development or IT operations;
  3. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), branching & merging strategy, and DevOps practices;
  4. Experience with release management tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Jira, Azure DevOps);
  5. Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills;
  6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple releases simultaneously;
  7. Familiarity with SAFe, Agile, Scrum, and ITIL methodologies;
