Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive test strategies to identify and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Develop and execute test cases to validate product features and functionality.

Defect Management:

  • Document and report defects found during testing, including steps to reproduce and expected results.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects and implement fixes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Provide regular updates on testing progress, defect status, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of industry experience in software development or a related field.
  • Experience working in cloud environments, such as Kubernetes, AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VRRP, IGMP, IPv4, LLDP, LAG, GRE, LT2TP, and IPSec.
  • Familiarity with WiFi Standards (IEEE 802.11) is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and scripting languages.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions.
