Geospatial Data Scientist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge geospatial solutions that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Closely collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Pitch data science concepts by mapping business problems to machine learning or advanced analytics approaches.
  • Design and implement high-quality analytics systems that solve complex business challenges using techniques from data mining, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Write efficient, collaborative code to process big data and streaming data from various sources and types.
  • Perform feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter optimization to yield high predictive accuracy and deploy models to production in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.
  • Implement best practices and patterns for geospatial machine learning and develop reusable technical components for demonstrations and rapid prototyping.
  • Integrate ArcGIS with popular deep learning libraries such as PyTorch.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends in machine and deep learning and incorporate them into project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field with knowledge of RS & GIS.
  • Knowledge and experience of ESRI products like ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, etc.
  • Experience with Image analysis and Image processing techniques in SAR, Multispectral, and Hyperspectral imagery.
  • Strong communication skills, including to non-technical audiences.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
