Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Business Operations Manager to support multiple critical processes within our operations. This role involves managing day-to-day activities as per standards and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end process of account freezing and unfreezing for private banking clients, liaising with onshore colleagues and relationship managers to ensure accurate execution of requests.
  • Perform performance research in order to find debitors and creditors and process as per guidelines.
  • Determine final amounts and make payments, understanding SEPA payment systems.
  • Verify client signatures for various banking documents and transactions, ensuring proper documentation and system updates are made in accordance with bank policies.
  • Act as a key point of contact with onshore colleagues and clients in Germany, communicating effectively in German for smooth coordination of tasks and resolving operational issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth operations across all processes.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or fraudulent activities associated with account transactions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks while adhering to internal Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Comply with all regulatory and internal policies.
  • Handle ad hoc projects/tasks/activities assigned by supervisors.
  • Support teams and programs with additional training and admin activities as assigned.
  • Perform quality checks for teams to ensure acceptable quality ratios.
  • Maintain up-to-date process documents, satisfying audit and compliance requirements.
  • Support project teams on process migration projects and relevant activities.
  • Be subject matter experts and assist teams in troubleshooting daily.
  • Assist supervisors with queries from onshore, FO, auditors, and various stakeholders.

About You

We require a German language expert with at least 7+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills and be able to interact independently with various stakeholders. Prior experience in managing small teams is an added advantage.

Your Skills and Experience

  • German Language certification ranging between B1 to C2 is mandatory (preferably from Goethe/Max Mueller Bhavan).
  • Hands-on experience in reviewing process documents, handling compliance, audits, risk, and control.
  • Will to work in multiple/rotational shifts.
