Project Coordinator Job Description

This role involves providing support to contractors and their professionals in assigned project areas. The job requires coordinating subcontract work activities, monitoring schedules and resource charts, reviewing construction methods, and ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities through instruction of management staff within the area of responsibility.
  • Monitor subcontractor construction schedules, resource charts, and material/equipment requirements.
  • Review subcontractor construction methods, schedules, manning charts, and material/equipment requirements.
  • Ensure construction operations align with external interfaces and established schedules.
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and work rules as established by field construction management.
  • SUPPORT CONSTRUCTION FIELD ENGINEERS, FOREMEN, AND CRAFT PROFESSIONALS IN INTERPRETING ENGINEERING DESIGN DOCUMENTS, VENDOR DOCUMENTS, AND OTHER TECHNICAL DOCUMENTS.
  • COORDINATE ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS WITH SUBCONTRACTORS, FOREMEN, AND CRAFT PROFESSIONALS.
  • COORDINATE WITH ENGINEERING ON CONSTRUCTABILITY ISSUES.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong understanding of construction processes.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
