We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Science Expert to join our team. This role will involve working closely with customers to understand their needs and develop data science solutions using geospatial technologies.

This position requires a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and programming skills in Python. The ideal candidate will have experience in building high-quality analytics systems, performing feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter optimization.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing best practices and patterns for geospatial machine learning, integrating ArcGIS with popular deep learning libraries, and keeping up-to-date with the latest technology trends in machine and deep learning.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult closely with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored data science solutions.
  • Build high-quality analytics systems that solve complex business problems using techniques from data mining, statistics, and machine learning.
  • Develop and deploy models using ESRI products and integrate them with popular deep learning libraries such as PyTorch.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in geospatial data science and AI.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, or a related field.
  • Strong Python coding skills and experience in building and optimizing supervised and unsupervised machine learning models.
  • Experience in computer vision techniques, including traditional and deep learning-based methods.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
