Job Overview

The role of Purchasing Executive Pharmaceutical & Food is based in New Delhi, India. Key responsibilities include sourcing vendors, purchasing various vitamins, nutraceuticals and pharmaceutical ingredients, as well as packing materials.

Objectives include lowering the cost of procurement, vendor management, inventory management, and contract negotiation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role will be:

  • Developing strong relationships with vendors
  • Securing competitive pricing
  • Managing inventory levels effectively
  • Negotiating favorable contracts

Requirements

Applicants must have at least 5 years' experience working in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing company.

  • Must have knowledge of purchasing vitamins, APIs, ingredients, and packing materials.
  • Understand Drugs & Cosmetics and FSSAI compliance.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively and make decisions quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Food Technology/Science, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field.

A highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for their work would be ideal for this position.
