Job Title: OSI PI Engineer

About the Role:

  • Design and implement OSI PI System architecture to collect, store, and visualize real-time industrial process data.
  • Develop and maintain PI Asset Framework (AF) models, templates, and event frames to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  • Configure and troubleshoot PI Vision dashboards and displays based on user requirements for informed decision-making.
  • Integrate field devices (PLC, SCADA, DCS systems) using standard PI interfaces and connectors for seamless data collection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill data requirements, providing technical support and documentation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and maintain PI system infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  2. Develop and deliver reports and analytics based on process data to drive business insights.
  3. Participate in PI system upgrades, patches, and cybersecurity compliance activities to ensure system security and integrity.
  4. Provide training and support to users on PI system capabilities and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electrical) or related field.
  • Familiarity with PI Data Archive, PR Asset Framework, PI Vision, and OPC DA protocol.
  • Basic knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLC Systems and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC). 
  • Good knowledge of OPC UA protocol.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with OSIsoft PI system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
