Back-end Developer for Innovative Enterprise Solutions

As a Java Developer at Jigsaw App, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, secure, and scalable Java-based solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, secure, and scalable Java-based solutions using modern frameworks and technologies.
- Build enterprise-level applications supporting mission-critical business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend engineers and product managers, to create applications optimized for performance and usability.
- Ensure adherence to development best practices, code quality, and security standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in distributed systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Java development, including strong knowledge of Java SE and Java EE.
- Hands-on expertise with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) and Hibernate or JPA.
- Proficiency in object-oriented design (OOD) and design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Observer).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services integration.
- Strong SQL skills with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and development lifecycles.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems using tools like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Exposure to Reactive Programming (Spring WebFlux, RxJava).
- Frontend development experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js (optional).
- Expertise in performance optimization for Java applications (e.g., JVM tuning, garbage collection).
