Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Engineer to design and build high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and AWS services.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing scalable back-end components using RESTful Web Services and SOAP.
  • Ensuring seamless integration of front-end UI with the constructed API.
  • Developing and implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting existing applications for optimal performance.

Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in version control tool Git, preferably with Gitlab.
  • Expertise in designing RESTful Web Services and SOAP.
  • Broad knowledge of web standards for authentication such as OAuth2, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc.
  • Ability to write clean, secure, test-driven, easily maintainable, and modular codes.
  • Familiarity with responsibilities of the platform, design patterns, API, proxies, caching layer, database, and other web services used in the system.
  • Flexibility and comfort working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work closely with internal counterparts.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, HTML5, and CSS/SASS.
  • Knowledge of mostly used libraries in Node.JS like Observables, RxJS, etc.
  • Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous programming with its workarounds.
  • Proficiency in MySQL and SQL concepts, with understanding of NO SQL and MongoDB.
  • Ability to architect/design/create DB schemas with futuristic vision and business use case.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience.

Additional Requirements:

  • Experience with Docker containers and CI/CD.
  • Strong understanding of web security principles and practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
