Job Title: Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our data engineering initiatives.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement scalable data pipelines using industry-leading technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, including Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, Notebooks, and SQL endpoints.
  • Design and build ETL/ELT solutions using PySpark, T-SQL, and Spark Notebooks within Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Manage and optimize data storage and compute resources in OneLake, supporting Lakehouse and Warehouse use cases.
  • Implement and manage secure data handling practices using Azure Key Vault for secrets, credentials, and connection strings.
  • Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering projects using Azure DevOps, including automated deployment of Fabric assets.
  • Integrate diverse data sources including SQL Server, Azure Blob Storage, REST APIs, and on-premises systems.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and PowerBI developers to ensure data models support reporting and self-service needs.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance, data quality, and failure recovery.
  • Contribute to architecture design, governance processes, and performance tuning.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience with data engineering technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Dataflows Gen2, Lakehouse, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and experience with tools like PySpark, T-SQL, and Spark Notebooks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
