Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of various electronics/electrical components.

The selected individual will be part of a cross-functional team assisting in the delivery of efficient engineering support and solutions to customers while contributing to the development of the Indian semiconductor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods.
  • Work on obsolescence activities, qualifying replacements, performing testing to qualify and release into the system along with documentation.
  • End-to-end ownership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, system, and process engineering) in different geographies to develop and qualify engineering solutions.
  • Rapidly generate design concepts that develop into detailed drawings for manufacturing.
  • Participate in design reviews to present designs throughout phases of design and development.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Master's degree preferred with 1 year of experience.
  • Comfortable working with US-based timings.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Good understanding of electronics components, schematics/system interconnect.
  • Ability to select and recommend components based on application and circuit requirements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Critical/system-level thinking.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in working on part lifecycle management, change orders using PLM systems.
  • Experience in electronic components obsolescence.
  • Understanding of PCB and components.
  • Hands-on experience with bench-level test and system-level test of electronics components.
  • Hands-on experience with AUTOCAD/Zuken/PCAD software.
