Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Tech Lead to spearhead our backend development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing large-scale systems that can handle millions of requests without breaking a sweat.

You will work closely with the product team to understand new features and projects, and figure out the best way to build them. Your expertise in system design and architecture will be invaluable in guiding your team to create efficient and scalable solutions.

We are looking for someone who is not only great at coding but also has excellent leadership skills. You should be able to motivate and guide your team to deliver high-quality results on time.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Golang, with at least 4+ years of experience in building large-scale systems. They should also be proficient in Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services such as ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, and Route 53.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of backend development experience, with at least 4+ years in Golang.
  • Strong system design skills and experience building large-scale systems.
  • Good understanding of Kafka.
  • Proficient with Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on with AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, Lambda, Secrets Manager, EC2, Route 53).
  • Familiarity with MySQL and MongoDB.
  • Experience with at least one of these: Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Prometheus), New Relic, Sentry.
  • Can write basic automation scripts in Python or Shell.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
