Technical Consultant for SAP BW and HANA Solutions

At myGwork, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consultant to join our team in this 2-month contractual role. As a technical expert in SAP BW and SAP BWS4 HANA, you will play a vital part in analysing the technical feasibility of specialist concepts, recording customer requirements, creating data processing concepts, and implementing them in stable, scalable, and high-performance SAP database warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Active participation in SAP BW and BI projects as an expert
  • Advising our team and plants in the process manufacturing sector on suitable BW-wide target architectures
  • Modelling and implementation of the architecture in SAP BW and BI BO Applications
  • Development in ABAP OO and HANA Native
  • Creation of test concepts, testing, and quality assurance
  • Accompanying our customers in the development of data strategies and data science
  • Support in the further development of IVL analytics team
  • Assistance in the preparation of offers and customer presentations

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Independent action and analytical mindset
  • Sound knowledge of SAP BW 7.x, ideally already in SAP BW 7.5 on HANA or SAP BW4 HANA
  • Many years of field-proven development experience in ABAP OO
  • First experiences with HANA
  • Knowledge of at least one BO frontend application
  • Industrial knowledge in manufacturing processes
