Job Opportunity

This is a senior-level position for a skilled developer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering software solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams to build amazing features for a strategic program management solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and unit test new features according to defined requirements within agreed timeframes.
  • Ensure that developed code adheres to performance requirements of a SaaS product.
  • Build front-end software using React/Javascript according to visual designs provided by the UX team.
  • Implement corresponding backend model software using Ruby on Rails.
  • Maintain existing client applications including fast resolution of customer-raised issues.
  • Write unit tests to ensure high-quality Ruby on Rails code within our infrastructure.
  • Collaborate effectively with product design teams, QA, and other stakeholders to understand user needs.
  • Estimate, self-plan, and self-manage tasks as a developer within an Agile team.
  • Document technical processes and software changes when necessary.
  • Protect confidential data and follow information security protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science or related technical discipline.
  • 3-9 years professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript with React capability desirable, SQL, and database use.
  • CI/CD technologies (Gitlab an advantage).
  • Knowledge of SaaS application architecture and design with Azure knowledge desirable.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and best practices.
