Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex optical requirements and specifications for instrument design and development, utilizing cutting-edge simulation tools like ZeMax or other software.
  • Design and experiment with innovative optical solutions, driving performance optimization and efficiency.
  • Develop and integrate standalone optical modules, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively, interfacing with Mechanical and Embedded Teams to drive project success.
  • Verify design validation, review test results, and present progress updates to the core team, fostering transparency and collaboration.
  • Identify potential risks, address issues promptly, and provide informed solutions, maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Troubleshoot optical design issues, fine-tuning performance and efficiency as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of designs and findings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in optics design within the realm of Spectroscopy, UV-VIS, and NIR.
  • At least 1 year of experience in managing complete product life cycles.
