This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned Research and Development Manager to join our team at HOS Global Foods.

We are seeking an innovative and experienced professional to lead the development and scaling of recipes for South Asian ready-to-eat food products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in global food safety systems, international regulatory affairs, new product development, and quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing new recipes for ready-to-eat South Asian food products, including gravies, pickles, sweets, parathas, naan, and more.
  • Modifying and scaling recipes for large-scale production while ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and shelf stability.
  • Staying ahead of global food trends and introducing innovative, clean-label, and consumer-friendly food products.
  • Collaborating with vendors, co-packers, and manufacturers to scale up R&D formulations into full-scale production.
  • Ensuring process optimization, ingredient sourcing, and cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Conducting pilot plant trials and overseeing first production runs to maintain product integrity.
  • Ensuring full compliance with USA, Canada, and FSSAI regulations.
  • Implementing and maintaining HACCP, BRC, and FSSC standards to meet global food safety requirements.
  • Working with regulatory teams to obtain necessary product approvals and certifications for international markets.
  • Establishing and overseeing sensory testing panels to ensure products meet consumer expectations.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving product quality issues in collaboration with QA teams.
