About the Job

Nisum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Applications Developer to join our team. As an expert in AEM and JavaScript, you will be responsible for building highly scalable and responsive web applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex web applications using AEM and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement efficient solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development and implement best practices.
  • Analyze complex business requirements and create technical specifications for web applications.
  • Provide coding direction to junior developers and develop highly complex original code.
  • Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
  • Verify program logic using testing and debugging best practices.
  • Use Agile methodologies to deliver solutions with high flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, math, or statistics or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 8+ years of programming experience building n-tier web applications with AEM or similar CMS.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, Java, OSGi, CSS, APIs, JSON data, Ajax, and XSL.
  • 3+ years of experience working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, libraries like jQuery, Bootstrap, and frameworks like AngularJS and ReactJS.
  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience in Java working with and building highly responsive and scalable web applications.
  • 3+ years of backend service layer development and integration with tools like Java, Node.js, Spring, REST APIs, and Open Source technologies.
  • 3+ years of experience working with AEM or similar Content Management System.
  • Well-versed with best practices for designing responsive web applications.
  • Well-versed with the latest trends in web and mobile space.
  • Familiar with UI (functional), JavaScript, and Java unit testing and performance testing tools.
  • Exposure with Jenkins or similar continuous integration tools, SVN, or similar source code management systems.
  • Experience with full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile).
  • Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of programming documentation processes/procedures.
  • Strong ability to understand client expectations and resolve issues that may affect delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong ability to mentor, coach, and train lower-level programmer analysts.
  • Experience in full-stack development using server-side (Java) and client-side (JavaScript) programming languages.
  • Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases.
  • Self-starter with ability to learn beyond formal training with strong aptitude for delivering quality products.
