Job Title

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in processing monthly payrolls to fill the position of Payroll Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll related changes including new hires, status changes and terminations
  • Manage payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payment of employees
  • Process wage assignments (child support orders, tax levies, etc)
  • Maintain and organize payroll files
  • Provide internal customers with exceptional customer service when responding to telephone and email requests
  • Provide payroll-related journal entry details for each month-end close
  • Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts as required for each month-end close
  • Assist with auditor requests
Requirements:
  • Experience in processing payroll
  • Excellent computer skills required, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with enterprise payroll systems is beneficial
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial requirements
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Payroll accounting experience is advantageous
  • International payroll experience is advantageous
