Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to fill this key role. As a skilled DBA, you will be responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of our Oracle databases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Oracle databases across multiple environments.
  • Extensive experience as an Oracle Database Administrator working on large to very large databases and in 24*7 systems is required.
  • Strong sense of database architecture is essential.
  • Migrating databases across servers and platforms is a crucial task.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, database tuning, troubleshooting, and database upgrades or shell scripting is necessary.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, and patching, backup and recovery, performance tuning, security, monitoring, and configuration with ease.
  • Monitor and ensure the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Oracle customer production databases, ensuring that the databases are available, performing properly, and secure.
  • Proficiency in backup and recovery skills is vital.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle database technologies and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle database concepts and architecture is required.
  • Experience in managing multitenant architecture with CDB and PDB is a must.
  • Proficiency in Oracle 19c is necessary.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization and patching is required.
  • Must have worked with big file table spaces.
  • Knowledge of any scripting - shell, Python, or Bash is beneficial.
  • Experience with backup and recovery operations is essential.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are a must.
  • Golden Gate is an added advantage.
