We are seeking a Senior AI Specialist to lead the design and implementation of industrial-grade AI systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing multimodal retrieval applications, implementing hybrid retrieval architectures, and building domain embeddings for technical terminology.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing AI systems that turn PDFs, CAD drawings, incident reports, and regulations into auditable decisions.
- Implementing hybrid retrieval architectures with reranking, targeting ≥90% top-k answerability and traceable citations.
- Building domain embeddings for bilingual technical terminology, crafting routing/prompting for audit-ready outputs.
- Ingesting/normalizing heterogeneous sources (ERP/MES exports, legacy DBs, SharePoint, IoT streams).
- Shipping 10k+ document-type ingestion with schema validation, redaction, and temporal versioning for regulatory drift.
- Integrating external APIs (e.g., KOSHA, OSHA, EPA).
- Orchestrating ensemble decisioning (rules + priors + ML) with SLA < 10s.
The successful candidate will operate on AWS EKS, Postgres, Pinecone, Temporal/Argo, Prometheus/Grafana, and CI/CD with test & eval gates. A strong background in explaining AI results is essential, as well as the ability to mentor client teams and internal engineers.
