Technical Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Operations Specialist to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement and maintain large-scale production services across multiple data centers and cloud environments using configuration management systems and code pipelines.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues to prevent repeat problems.
  • Collaborate with software engineering teams to build out website environments, troubleshoot code deployments, and resolve configuration-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management systems for cloud deployments.
  • Ability to design and implement solutions to reduce toil, generate automated alerts, auto-heal system failures, and provide real-time reporting on website health.

Requirements:

  • 3-7 years of experience in Windows and/or Linux system engineering.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, GoLang, .net, and web server experience.
  • Proven scripting and coding skills.
  • Experience with public cloud providers like AWS, Google Cloud, and Windows Azure.
  • Experience maintaining large deployments using Puppet, CHEF, Ansible, or other configuration management tools.
  • Experience with server virtualization and container technologies like Docker.

  • IIS, Tomcat, Nginx web servers.

  • MS SQL Server, MySQL, Hadoop databases.
  • NoSQL database solutions.
  • Load balancers like F5, NGINX, ALB/NLB.
  • Ansible and Puppet configuration management tools.
  • Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana monitoring and analytics.
