Training Manager Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead the design and delivery of end-to-end training programs for beauty advisors, field sales, and retail partners.

  • Main Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing curriculum and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product science, shade matching, regimen building, hygiene, visual merchandising basics, and claims guardrails. This individual will create multi-format content including decks, playbooks, videos, role-plays, and quizzes in Hindi and English.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive training programs across regions and channels.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned messaging and consistent training experience.
  • Evaluating training effectiveness and making data-driven decisions to enhance program impact.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in beauty/personal-care retail training, with a background in leading pan-India TTT programs.
  • Strong knowledge of makeup and skincare, with the ability to explain INCI and shade science simply.
  • Bilingual in Hindi and English, with confidence in facilitating training sessions and presenting on-camera.
  • Data-driven, with advanced skills in Google Sheets/Excel and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Flexibility to work weekends and launches, with high comfort levels when traveling.
  • A plus if you have experience in Marketing, or Basic Visual Merchandising.

Hiring Notes:

  • Pure L&D profiles bring strong pedagogy and content creation skills, but may need coaching on retail hustle.
  • Ex-BA/Counter Leads have great field intuition, but may require testing for content creation and analytics.
  • Prior brand-side experience is preferred over third-party trainers for accountability to KPIs.
