At our organization, we are revolutionizing the way businesses interact through innovative technology solutions.

The Data Transformation Specialist will design and develop data transformation processes using Snowflake. This includes utilizing SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, and developing, testing, and deploying data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Modeling: Design and develop data transformation processes using Snowflake.
  • SQL Scripting: Utilize SQL scripting to implement complex queries and data transformations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Pipeline Development: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub, to automate workflows.
  • Data Quality: Ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Degree Requirement: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 to10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
  • Skills: Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, experience in cloud data warehousing and business intelligence, familiarity with other data integration tools and platforms, proficiency in dbt Cloud and developing data models, experience with CI/CD processes, preferably using GitHub, familiarity with Jira or similar agile systems, demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
