Job Description

DataCore Software is a global software company that helps customers modernize how they store, protect, and access data. Our industry-leading software-defined storage (SDS) solutions deliver optimal results and the lowest cost.

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in writing automation test cases and be proficient in Go, C/C++, and Linux command line scripting.

  • Develop and maintain tooling for running end-to-end tests of Datacore products
  • Keep project status updated and ensure comprehensive coverage of work being done
  • Purposefully break things and deep dive into the inner workings of storage components

The successful candidate will have a detailed understanding of how to properly document test cases and be comfortable not sticking to the happy path. They will actively seek edge-cases and own projects/ features from concept to production.

We are looking for a team player who can work closely with product management and development teams to define use cases and acceptance testing criteria. The ideal candidate will also develop, execute, and maintain component, integration, regression, performance, stability, and scalability tests.

Mandatory skills include:

  • Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in writing automation test cases
  • Experience working with Go, C/C++ is mandatory
  • Experience with Linux command line and scripting
  • Ability to read system logs and do basic troubleshooting
  • Experience with BDD
  • User level knowledge of Kubernetes
