Senior Robotics Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled robotics engineer to drive the development and integration of autonomy systems for marine robotics platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead technical projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the design of cutting-edge robotics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Design and implement advanced autonomy modules (navigation, control, perception, SLAM, etc.)
    • Oversee system-level integration with sensors, embedded systems, and marine vehicle control systems
    • Establish best practices in ROS2 development, simulation testing, and CI/CD pipelines
    • Develop and execute testing and validation strategies using simulation and field trials
  • Product Development:
    • Develop scalable and reliable code in C++ and Python for marine robotics platforms
    • Collaborate on simulator development (Gazebo, Unity Sim) for accurate marine dynamics and sensor behavior
    • Troubleshoot and debug software-hardware interfaces during trials
  • Team & Project Management:
    • Mentor junior engineers in robotics, controls, and perception
    • Collaborate with program managers on project milestones, deliverables, and deployments
    • Document and present technical findings to stakeholders
