Visual Storyteller Role

We seek a skilled Visual Storyteller to create engaging visual content for global clients. This role requires expertise in scientific graphic design and the ability to communicate complex ideas visually.

  • Create graphical abstracts representing the essence of scientific studies, applying knowledge of scientific principles and creative design skills.
  • Extract visual elements from scientific manuscripts and develop storyboards outlining the visual narrative.
  • Generate rough sketches for initial visual concepts and review peer and freelancer outputs to ensure client expectations are met.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field (Biology, Biotechnology, Medicine, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering).
  • 3-5 years of experience in scientific graphic designing with advanced Adobe Design Suite skills (Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Familiarity with the scientific publishing landscape and experience in science communication.
