About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java software developer to join our team at Société Générale Assurances.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Java programming, with experience in Core-Java, Spring, and Hibernate technologies. They will also have hands-on experience with microservices architecture and spring boot technologies, as well as GUI development using JSP, HTML & JavaScript.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software features.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that best practices are followed.
- Ensure that software craftsmanship is followed, including code coverage, code smells, and API quality.
- Collaborate with POs and Business Analysts to understand user requirements and participate in user story development.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Java and related technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Core-Java, Spring, and Hibernate technologies.
- Experience with microservices architecture and spring boot technologies.
- GUI development experience using JSP, HTML & JavaScript.
- Clear understanding of Software Development life cycle and process Oriented.
- Good fundamentals in Core Programming, Object Oriented design & Design patterns.
- Experience in creating & executing unit tests using test driven approach with Junit/Mockito.
- Experience in creating & executing unit tests using Karma/Jasmine on UI.
