System-on-Chip Verification Specialist

This role involves ensuring the design of an integrated System-on-Chip (SoC) meets specifications through functional logic verification.
A key responsibility is defining and developing scalable and reusable verification plans, test benches, and environments to achieve the required level of coverage and align with microarchitecture specifications.
Verification experts will execute verification plans and develop emulation and system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and performance, and identify bugs.
The ideal candidate will replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the pre-silicon environment, implement corrective measures to resolve failing tests, and collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
Key responsibilities include documenting test plans, driving technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams, and incorporating security activities within test plans to ensure security coverage.
Verification experts must maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology, absorbing learning from post-silicon validation and updating test plans for missing coverages.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering or a related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or PhD with 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant technical experience should be in Silicon Design and/or Validation/Verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Design and/or Design Verification with developing, maintaining, and executing complex IPs and/or SOCs.
- OVM/UVM, System Verilog, constrained random verification methodologies.
- Complete verification life cycle (verification architecture, test plan, execution, debug, coverage closure).
- Developing validation test suites and driving continuous improvement into existing validation test suites and methodologies.
- Experience in Xeon CPU Pre-Silicon or Post Silicon Validation.
