Business Intelligence Developer Position

This is a highly skilled data architect role focused on building scalable data models across multiple domains, including accounts, holdings and transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage conceptual, logical & physical data models to ensure accurate and reliable data integration.
  • Design and optimize data solutions using Snowflake clustering, partitioning and schema best practices.
  • Drive data governance ensuring that data is trusted, understood and easy to use.
  • Collaborate with product owners, engineers and stakeholders to deliver business solutions.
  • Document and present architecture/design decisions in line with enterprise standards.

Mandatory Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in data modelling, database engineering and enterprise data architecture.
  • Expertise in OLTP/OLAP design, data warehouse and ELT/ETL processes.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake data sharing, streams, tasks and schema design.
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Modelling tools like Erwin, PowerDesigner and IBM Infosphere.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks and Cosmos DB.
  • Excellent SQL skills for performance tuning, query optimization and indexing.
  • Knowledge of ontology and taxonomy design as well as regulatory and financial data standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in the security servicing or asset management domain.
  • Familiarity with Master Data Management (MDM), data vault and information architecture frameworks.
  • Basic understanding of Python/R programming languages for data analysis.
  • Excellent presentation and visualisation skills.
