Job Title: Senior Golang Backend Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Golang Backend Developer to join our team.

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Location: Remote

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Service Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Golang.
  • Code Quality and Scalability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Architect scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Application Performance and Security
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Database and Caching Technologies
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
  • Collaboration and Code Review
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
  • Troubleshooting and Debugging
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 5+ years in Golang.
  • Strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development.
  • Proficiency in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to lead technical discussions.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

As a Senior Golang Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services. You will work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to lead technical discussions are essential for this role.
