We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to fill the Sales Governance role at Canara HSBC Life Insurance. The Sales Governance role is responsible for identifying, escalating, mitigating, and monitoring key issues related to governance, compliance, and audit within sales and training.
Responsibilities:- Reporting and Analysis: Create and update multiple Sales Quality reports such as Sales Monitoring tool, Sales Quality Dashboard, Sales KRI, and Sales Quality Scores in a timely manner.
- Incident Management: Analyze data on complaints and RCU findings to determine trends or patterns and recommend mitigants to prevent incidents.
- Investigations: Schedule face-to-face interactions and investigations for pre-issuance fraud, forgery, impersonation, and unethical business practices reported to sales governance.
- Control Monitoring: Conduct and challenge testing of controls as part of the internal control monitoring plan (ICMP) and provide assurance to the Sales function on the working of internal controls.
- Risk Assessment: Review and update Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) parameters for Sales and Training after discussing with stakeholders and conduct periodic RCSA testing with results shared with the risk team along with recommendations.
- Root Cause Analysis: Perform root cause analysis for incidents highlighted/escalated by the Sales Quality Function.
- Oversight: Exercise first-line oversight on all sales quality and sales governance; support the Sales Quality team in carrying out reviews and feed relevant information to the Sales function.
- Regulatory Compliance: Responsible for implementing and adhering to all regulatory policies and processes regarding the sale of insurance to prospective customers. Assist in conducting Sales reviews, annual BCP/DR drills, SQRG, audit, information security reviews, fraud risk assessments, etc.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct regular gap analysis against HSBC FIMs relevant to functional areas.
- Sales Quality: Monitor sales quality and disseminate sales quality scores to stakeholders. Work with the sales leadership team to take corrective actions to improve sales quality.
- Regulatory Updates: Implement and monitor changes in the sales area as a result of regulatory updates from the regulator.
- New Regulatory Changes: Implement and provide updates on new and existing regulatory changes.
- Dashboards: Analyze monthly complaints and incidents and release dashboards to field sales.
- Geographical Analysis: Perform detailed geographical analysis on complaints and incidents.
