Job Title: FPGA Architect

As an Embedded Systems Designer, you will lead the development of complex digital circuits and oversee the creation of custom hardware solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development of complex FPGA designs
  • Collaboration with R&D Project Managers, System Architects, and Engineers
  • Development of new product offerings and improvement of existing ones
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in digital circuit design and development (Altera, Xilinx)
  • Experience with RTL languages - VHDL or Verilog
  • Proficiency in EDA Functional Simulation tools – Synopsys or Mentor or Cadence
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies, protocols, and product segments
  • Experience with creating self-checking simulation environments involving test benches, scripts for automation, writing test cases
  • Collaboration with system architects to define system architecture and determine FPGA interface with other components on the PCB board
  • Experience with timing closure for complex designs
  • Excellent written skills for creating documents like Product Definition, Detailed FPGA Design, Hardware & Software Interface documents
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with working on protocols such as PCI Express, USB, MIPI (MPHY, DPHY, CPHY based), Ethernet, DDR etc.
  • International collaboration experience
  • Multi-vendor collaboration experience
