Job Title: Sustainable Design Intern

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative sustainable design intern who is passionate about clean energy integration. The intern will support the development of eco-friendly design concepts that incorporate solar panels, smart energy solutions, and modern interior aesthetics.

This internship offers hands-on exposure to real projects, mentorship from both engineering and design teams, and an opportunity to work on a one-of-a-kind concept that merges sustainable design with renewable energy technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing layouts that balance functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate solar panel structures into the design without compromising style and usability.
  • Create 3D renders, sketches, and mood boards to visualize design ideas.
  • Research and propose eco-friendly materials, furniture, and finishes.
  • Develop design concepts for seating, lighting, flooring, and shading that align with solar installations.
  • Support in preparing presentations, drawings, and design documents for internal review.
  • Explore smart energy integration ideas (solar-powered lighting, charging stations, shading using panels, etc.).
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in sustainable design/architecture/design.
  • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 3D modeling tools.
  • Strong visualization skills with the ability to translate concepts into renderings.
  • Interest in renewable energy, modern lifestyle spaces, and sustainable practices.
  • Creative problem-solver with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar profile is a plus.
  • A good portfolio is essential.
