Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements to drive business growth. Your expertise in hedge fund accounting concepts will enable you to understand complex workflows including NAV calculation, trade capture, cash/position reconciliations, performance fees, and investor allocations.

To achieve this, you will work closely with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements. Your ability to collaborate with technology teams to enhance fund accounting platforms (e.g., Advent Geneva, Investran, Eagle, Calypso, Charles River, or proprietary systems) is crucial.

Additionally, you will identify gaps in current processes, streamline reconciliations, automate manual processes, and improve data integrity. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure seamless execution of these tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of hedge fund accounting concepts: NAV, accruals, P&L attribution, fee structures (management & incentive/performance), side pockets, share classes.
  • Experience with fund administration systems (Geneva, Investran, Advent, or equivalent).
  • Business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process modeling, UAT, documentation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives (swaps, options, futures, FX).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills.
